Fun with Grandparents

My mom and dad were here last weekend and the boys had lots of fun with them. Ashton and my dad did some reading.



Carson cuddled with my mom. She even bought him new sunglasses.


They enjoyed spending time with all their grand kids, including Isabella.

Birthday Party!

Last Saturday we celebrated Ashton's birthday with family. He had a Curious George themed party!



We had lots of visitors for Ashton to hang out with.




Of course he got lots of presents and enjoyed opening and playing with them.

2 Year Update

We took Ashton in for the 2 year wellness check-up. He now weighs 25 1/2 pounds and has jumped up to almost the 25th percentile and is almost 35 inches tall, which puts him at the 50th percentile! We had to have a blood draw again to check his thyroid levels. This time they went up quite a bit, so he has started medicine for his thyroid in hopes to get the levels lower. They aren't sure what is causing this, but because of his development, his doctor thought it was best to start him on it now. He could grow out of it or it may be something he has to deal with through life. But, I'd rather start now so he doesn't have problems later!

Happy Birthday Ashton

Ashton had a good birthday! They had a little party for him at day care and then when he got home he got to open his presents.




Then it was time to play with his new toys!

Wacky Wednesday

It was Wacky Wednesday at daycare. Ashton wore his clothes inside out and then added his boots.



Carson wore pajamas, with his shirt backwards, and a fireman hat and boots. He thought he looked pretty good!

Peanuts

I just want to thank my parents for sending my birthday presents and protecting them with the Styrofoam peanuts. As you can see, Carson and Ashton loved them and made this mess in about 5 minutes! I did get both of them to help clean it up, though!
