Too old of an XBox 360?

Well, after months of hearing Paul complain about not having an Xbox, I finally gave in a couple of weeks ago. It was quite funny watching him trying to hook it up. He's not the most technically savvy person. Yes, he did have to call one of our neighbors over to help! But, don't worry, after about an hour or so, we got it working. The next challenge came, when he couldn't get the head set to work. Apparently you can talk to people while you play, which is why it is soooo cool and we had to get one. In the picture you will see Paul with his head set on, while he's talking to our neighbor on our home phone and taking to my brother on his cell phone trying to get the headset to work. Don't worry, that got solved as well, and now everything is working as it should. The only rule....can't play until Carson goes to bed!

2 Month Update

Today I took Ashton in for his 2 month check-up. He tipped the scales at 11 pounds, 15 ounces and was 22.4 inches long and his head is 39 centimeters. She said he looked good. He does have a lot of baby acne on his arms, front and back that we need to keep an eye on to make sure it's not something else and doesn't get infected. I think he just has sensitive skin! He also has a red mark on the roof of his mouth that we need to keep an eye on to make sure it isn't growing. She thought maybe it was a birth mark. He slept for about 3 hours after the shots, but when he woke-up he was crabby and hungry. He kept crying every time he moved his legs for awhile. Now he seems to be getting better and moving his legs more. I think the Tylenol has kicked in. I did go back to see what Carson's stats were at his 2 month check-up. He was only 10 pounds, 7 ounces and was 23 inches long.

Happy Mother's Day

I had the pleasure of spending this Mother's Day with my mom and also my grandma (as well as my grandpa, aunt, and brother). My mom flew in last Thursday and left Monday morning. Paul was out of town at a Jimmy John's conference in Orlando, FL. Yes, he was enjoying the warm weather while I was at home taking care of our boys! Actually, he didn't really get to do anything except attend Jimmy John's stuff. But, from what I've heard so far, he did get to do a little partying! So, we helped fly my mom down so she could help me and spend the weekend with all of us. My grandparents were also able to come from Iowa on Saturday morning and stay until Sunday. They hadn't seen Carson since October and this was their first time seeing Ashton. It was great to have everyone together.
I hope all of you who are mom's had a wonderful Mother's Day! It's a full-time job, but one of the best jobs in the world. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Employed

I got offered a new job last Friday and start on May 7th! I will only be unemployed for 2 days! YEAH! The company is called My InnerView. Corporate is located in Wausau, WI and there is a small office also located in Minnetonka. I will have to drive again, but the best part is that I will only be working 4 days a week, with Friday's off. I will be working with two people from my days at Achieve Healthcare. It is nice to already know the people you will be working for and with. I didn't think I'd find a job so fast and was looking forward to spending more time with Ashton. So, it's a little sad that I have to return to work after only eight weeks, but I know he'll be in good hands.
