Mini-Mites

Carson has been going to gymnastics for the last 6 weeks. It has been on Wednesday nights for a half hour. It was pretty crazy with 2 and 3 year olds. They did little stuff like, walking on balance beams, jumping on little trampolines, somersaults, and jumping into the big pit of foam blocks. This Wednesday was the last night of the summer session and they got to jump on the big trampolines, jump into the foam pit and jump in a big castle. Carson had a lot of fun. I signed him up again for the fall session, which goes for 12 weeks and is 45 minutes this time. It's a good way to get him used to listening to other people, being around other kids and getting out all of his energy!

Another Carnival

Last Saturday, Carson got to go to another carnival. One of the local parks had a free little kiddie carnival with a couple of rides and games. This one was a little cheaper than the last one we went to. This time he got to go with one of his friends, Quinn. Carson got to ride a barrel train twice, jump in a moon bounce with a slide, ride a horse named Zack (Quinn rode his brother, Jack), pet animals at the little petting zoo and even got a balloon ladybug.

They also had some games for the kids. They had a duck pond, a fishing game, soccer game, bowling game and lots more. They got little prizes just for playing or a coupon to pick out a bigger prize if they won. We were there a couple of hours, but it was a good time. Afterwards we headed to Dairy Queen for lunch and an ice cream cone. I'm taking the boys to Fargo this weekend to see Grandma and Papa Woitaszewski, while Paul is in Illinois for our friend Justin's 30th birthday party!

5 Months

Ashton is already five months old! We can hardly believe that time has went by so fast. Ashton now loves to be on his tummy, including when he sleeps. He is starting to interact with toys more. He finally likes to take baths and no longer screams and cries. He loves to splash me! We will be trying cereal this week, which we can't believe it's time to try!

Day Out With Thomas

On Saturday we made the trip to Lakeville so Carson could see Thomas the Train. Last year while we were in Rapid City, visiting our friends Anne and Jason, Thomas happened to be there. Carson really liked it, so we decided to take him again this year. Naps ran a little long, so we got there a little late, but Carson had fun anyway. He got a tattoo, played in a ball pit, went down slides, played in a sandbox and got to see Thomas up close! Next year we may actually ride on Thomas!
