Back to Grand Forks

This past weekend we went back to Grand Forks to meet my friend Sara from California. I finally got to meet her two youngest kids, Evelyn and Townes. We tried to get a group picture.

Townes was so good and even let me hold him.

My parents also met us there and we took the kids swimming at the hotel waterpark. They loved going down the waterslide. Ashton kept going down backwards and wasn't afraid of anything.

The next day the boys helped Grandpa pack-up....or just rode around the hotel room while the rest of us carried everything to the car!

Family Time in Brainerd

We went to Brainerd this afternoon to visit Grandma and Grandpa Johnson and Anthony. They are watching Anthony while Neil and Eileen are doing some traveling. The boys had fun playing outside, riding on the 4-wheeler and playing with each other and all of the toys.

Clean Teeth

Today Carson had his first dentist appointment and did such a great job. He actually let them take some X-rays, polish his teeth and do fluoride. Then the dentist came in and counted his teeth. She said everything looked good and no cavities. Carson was excited to get a green toothbrush after it was all done!

Family Birthday Party #2

On Saturday afternoon we celebrated Carson's birthday again with his great-grandparents, grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousin!

Then it was time for cupcakes and playing with balloons!

Of course, then we had to play with all of the new toys.

Carson says Thank You to everyone for coming to his birthday parties and for all of the presents.

Check-ups

On Friday we took Carson and Ashton for their 4 year and 18 months check-ups. Carson let the doctor check him out and didn't cry at all, which was an improvement from last year. He even did his hearing test! Carson weighed in at 31.2 pounds and is staying steady at the 10th percentile!

Ashton was also very good until he had to get some blood drawn. They actually had to do an arm draw, so he wasn't too happy. He weighs in at 23 pounds and is also at the 10th percentile!

We will be going back in a couple of weeks for flu shots! Not very excited about that appointment!

4 Years

Today is Carson's 4th Birthday! It's amazing to see how much he's grown and changed. He is now in pre-school two days a week and has also started Sunday school. Tonight after daycare, Carson got to open the presents he had been anxiously awaiting all day!

Add another truck to the previous list...a bucket truck!

Birthday Parties

Saturday was a busy day! First we went to Andrew's birthday party. He was born the day after Carson. We watched him open his presents and had some cake.

Then it was time for Carson's birthday party. We had it at the local gymnastics place. They got to swing into the pit.

They got to go in the dragon.

And jump on the trampolines and anywhere else they could.

Then it was time for cake and ice cream!

And finally time to open presents.

I think Carson got every truck he could ever want! We now have a couple of firetrucks, tow truck, steam roller, bulldozers, and a garbage truck. I think Carson had a great day!
