Favorites

The boys are having a blast playing with some of their new favorite toys. Fireman Carson playing with the numerous cars he got.

Ashton loves his new Elmo and vacuum cleaner. He has taken Elmo to daycare the last two days!

They enjoyed playing with their new toys on daddy and coloring with their new dot markers and color books.

Christmas X 3

We started out celebrating Christmas Eve by trying to get a couple of family pictures.

Then it was time to open presents. The boys had a few to open!

Santa came the next day. He brought a sled and a giant puppy for Ashton and a few other presents, too.

On Sunday the 27th we then celebrated with Paul's family. The boys got even more presents. We gave Anthony a basketball hoop! It was taller then he was!

It was a great Christmas and great spending time with family!

Quality Time

My parents were here for a week, so the boys got to spend quality time with them. They got to play games and read books (a couple of times).

Snow Day

We got quite a bit of snow here over Christmas, so of course Carson wanted to shovel. Copper also enjoys the snow!

Birthday & Science

On the 20th was Paul's birthday! On the 19th, we went to a friends house for dinner, since we had grandparents in town to babysit. It was so quiet and relaxing with no kids around!

Then on Paul's actual birthday we went to the Science Museum to see the Titanic exhibit. We weren't allowed to take pictures, but we each got a boarding pass with the name of an actual person who was on the Titanic. At the end you get to see if that person lived or not. I was Charles Edward Dahl of Oceania, Australia. I was 45 and in third class. I was traveling to Fingal, ND where my mother and a few siblings lived. I actually lived through the sinking of the Titanic.

The kids liked the rest of the museum since they could run around and touch the different experiments.

Gingerbread House

Carson really wanted to build a gingerbread house, so that was our project today. The frosting was very sticky and not very easy to spread. I don't know how anyone can get it to look like the picture on the box, but we did the best we could!

Waterpark and Games

On Friday we rented a hotel room in Elk River so the boys could go swimming. They loved going down the slide and playing in the water. They had fun, but got cold so quick!

Then they got to play games at the arcade!

Obsessed

Ashton has a couple of things he likes to do, all of the time. He loves to climb on the chair and play with our laptop, brush his teeth 2 or 3 times a day and make messes on purpose just so he can clean them up!
